Delete custom field

DEL https://app.sendapp.ai/api/contact-fields/{id}

Deletes a custom field: its value no longer shows on any contact. This cannot be undone.

If a WhatsApp template uses the field in a variable, the request is refused with 409 and the templates list: remove the field from those templates first.

If saved segments have a rule on the field, the field is deleted anyway and the response lists them in segments_using_it (id and name) with a warning in note: edit those segments in SendApp.

Common errors: 401 if the API key is missing or wrong — 403 if the plan has expired or does not include API access — 429 if you send too many requests in a short time: try again after a few seconds.
