The official SendApp module

The SendApp – WhatsApp Notifications, Marketing & Chat Widget module is on PrestaShop Addons (PrestaShop 1.7.8 or later). It connects the shop to SendApp with one click: the module creates the read-only key by itself.

• WhatsApp messages for every order status, with tracking number, carrier and link, and your Meta-approved templates.
• Abandoned carts with PrestaShop's recovery link, only to customers who gave consent.
• An AI assistant that knows the shop: it searches your products live and tells customers where their order is. The catalogue is never copied.
• WhatsApp consent at checkout and SendApp chat on the website.

How to connect it

1. Download the module from PrestaShop Addons.
2. In PrestaShop go to Modules → Module Manager → Upload a module, choose the file and press Configure.
3. Press Connect to SendApp, sign in, choose the WhatsApp number and confirm.
4. The module shows «Connected to SendApp» and «AI reads the catalogue»; in SendApp → Apps → Online shop the shop shows as «Connected».

Disconnecting

«Disconnect» in the module, or uninstalling it: SendApp revokes its key and the module deletes the read-only Webservice key it had created.

Without the module

For the product search only, you can connect the shop from SendApp → Apps → Online shop, with the shop address and a read-only Webservice key created by hand (a video in the window shows how).

Alternative: webhooks by hand

Only if you cannot install the module: with the webhooks below your customers become SendApp contacts, tagged and reachable with Campaigns.

How it works

On every event in your PrestaShop shop (minimum version 1.7) we create or update the contact in SendApp (name, phone, email) and tag it. We don't send messages on your behalf: you contact the leads whenever you want with a campaign or via API.

Step-by-step setup

1. Copy your Webhook URL from the box above (select the account first).
2. Log in to PrestaShop and go to the Webhook section of your shop settings.
3. Paste the URL (JSON format) and choose the events that include the buyer's data (in these events the payload contains the customer's name, phone and email):
   • Order creation
   • Customer creation
4. Save.

Avoid events that only concern products or inventory: they don't contain a customer and don't create anything.

General rule: choose events that include customer data (name, phone or email): without a phone or email the contact is not created.

What happens next

The contacts coming from PrestaShop are created and tagged (prestashop) in SendApp. Reach them with a campaign filtering by that tag, or through the API.

Verify

Create a test order on PrestaShop and check that the contact appears in SendApp. If the phone or email is missing, the contact is not created.
