What the app does

• Profiles in both directions: first name, last name, email and phone stay the same in Klaviyo and SendApp. A change in SendApp reaches Klaviyo in seconds, a change in Klaviyo reaches SendApp within a few minutes. When you connect, the Klaviyo profiles with a phone or an email arrive in SendApp with the tag you choose.
• WhatsApp messages as Klaviyo events: every message, received or sent, becomes the WhatsApp message event on the profile, to use in segments and to start a flow. Who writes to you on WhatsApp for the first time can be created in Klaviyo too.
• Templates from flows: the Webhook action of a Klaviyo flow sends your approved WhatsApp template to the profile.

How to connect

1. In SendApp open Apps, switch on Klaviyo and press Configure.
2. Choose the WhatsApp Account and press Sign in to Klaviyo: Klaviyo asks you to allow SendApp, there is nothing to copy.
3. Or use a private key: in Klaviyo open Settings → Account → API keys → Create Private API Key, name it «SendApp», choose Custom Key with Accounts: Read, Profiles: Full, Events: Full, Lists: Read, press Create and paste the key (it starts with pk_) in SendApp.
4. Done: the profiles arrive in SendApp and from then on the WhatsApp messages reach Klaviyo as events.

Templates from flows

1. In SendApp, in Apps → Klaviyo, choose the template and its variables: SendApp gives you the destination URL and the JSON body to use.
2. In Klaviyo, in a flow, add the Webhook action and paste the destination URL and the JSON body.
3. The profile who reaches that action receives the template. Keep the address private: whoever has it can send your templates.

Good to know

• WhatsApp messages reach the Klaviyo profile from the moment you connect the app, not the whole past of the chat.
• Klaviyo is connected to your whole SendApp space: the chats of all your Accounts arrive.
• A WhatsApp number works with one provider at a time: with SendApp, use Klaviyo for email, SMS and marketing.
• «Disconnect» in SendApp removes the access to Klaviyo. Contacts and chats stay in SendApp.
• The app is included only in some SendApp plans: check the Apps included in your plan.

Or: the webhook

If bringing the contacts into SendApp is enough, you can still use the webhook below in a Klaviyo flow: every profile with a phone or an email is created or updated in SendApp and tagged. The webhook sends no events nor templates: for that you need the app.
