What it is
SendApp Pixel connects your website to the messages you send with SendApp. For every campaign and automation you see who taps the button, who reaches your site, what they look at and what they buy, with revenue confirmed by real orders and the ROI worked out on the real cost of the messages.
How to connect a website
- In SendApp open Pixel → Sites and press Connect a site. Type the address: SendApp reads the home page and recognises the platform, the cookie banner and the code already there by itself.
- Choose what to measure. Page views, WhatsApp clicks, products, cart and purchases work out of the box; you can add your own actions, such as a form sent or a button, and point at them on the site with Choose on the site.
- Install the code. WordPress and WooCommerce have the SendApp Pixel plugin, PrestaShop has the module; on other websites (Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, Framer, Google Tag Manager) you paste one line of code before
</head>. In the plugin or the module you paste the public key and the secret of the site: the connection is checked by itself.
Step-by-step instructions for every platform: WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Shopify, other websites.
Counting template clicks
When you create a WhatsApp template with a link button, switch on Count the clicks. The click goes through SendApp, is counted once per recipient, and the customer lands on the right page straight away, even before choosing in the site's cookie banner.
Campaigns, revenue and ROI
In Pixel → Campaigns every WhatsApp, SMS or email campaign has its clicks, visits, purchases and revenue. Only confirmed orders count: a bank transfer stays to be confirmed until the shop marks it as paid, and refunds are taken off. With the cost of the messages, the ROI works itself out.
Automations from your website
An automation can start from what the customer does on your site: a checkout left halfway, a page viewed, a form sent, a return visit. Browsing automations start only for a visitor recognised with certainty: the link of a message, the WhatsApp code, a signed login or an order confirmed by the shop.
Privacy and consent
Until the visitor chooses in the cookie banner, the Pixel writes nothing in the browser and sends no events. It reads the most common banners by itself: CookieYes, Cookiebot, Complianz, OneTrust, Iubenda, WP Consent API and Google Consent Mode. It never stores the full IP address and never builds a fingerprint of the browser.
