What the app does

• Contacts and leads in both directions: name, email and phone stay the same in Zoho CRM and SendApp. When you connect, the Zoho CRM contacts and leads with a phone or an email arrive in SendApp with the tag you choose (by default zoho).
• WhatsApp chats as notes: every message (customer, operator, AI assistant, campaign, automation) is saved on the Zoho CRM contact or lead, one note per conversation and day, with time and author.
• Templates from Zoho CRM: a «Send WhatsApp» button on Contacts and Leads opens a page where you choose the template and fill its variables; or the Webhook action of a workflow rule sends it on its own.

How to connect it

1. In SendApp open Apps, switch on Zoho CRM and press Connect Zoho CRM.
2. Sign in to your Zoho account and allow SendApp. It works with every Zoho data center (Europe, United States, India, Australia and the others).
3. Back in SendApp, choose the default WhatsApp Account.
4. Done: contacts and leads arrive in SendApp and from then on the WhatsApp chats appear in Zoho CRM.

The button and the workflow

• «Send WhatsApp» button: in Zoho CRM open Setup → Customization → Modules and Fields → Contacts (then Leads) → Buttons → Create New Button, action «Open a Web Page», and paste the address you find in Apps → Zoho CRM.
• Workflow rule: add the «Webhook» action (POST) with the address from Apps → Zoho CRM and the parameters template, module, id and var1…var5. Webhooks need Zoho CRM Professional or higher.
• Keep these addresses private: whoever has them can send your templates.

Good to know

• Zoho CRM is connected to your whole SendApp space: the chats of all your Accounts arrive.
• Chats are saved from the moment you connect the app, not the earlier history.
• «Disconnect Zoho CRM» in SendApp removes SendApp's access. Contacts and chats stay in SendApp.
• The app is included only in some SendApp plans: check the apps included in your plan.
