What the app does

• Contacts in both directions: name, email and phone stay the same in HubSpot and SendApp. When you connect, the HubSpot contacts with a phone or an email arrive in SendApp with the tag hubspot.
• WhatsApp chats on the contact: every message appears on the contact's timeline in HubSpot as a WhatsApp message, with who wrote it (customer, operator, AI assistant, campaign, automation).
• Templates from workflows: HubSpot workflows get the action «Send WhatsApp template (SendApp)», with variables taken from the contact's data and a PDF, an image or a video in the header.

How to connect it

1. Press Install the app on HubSpot above, or in SendApp open Apps → HubSpot and press Connect HubSpot.
2. Choose your HubSpot account and allow SendApp. Until the app is on the HubSpot Marketplace, HubSpot shows an «unverified app» warning: that is normal.
3. Back in SendApp, sign in and choose the default WhatsApp Account for workflows.
4. Done: your HubSpot contacts arrive in SendApp and from then on the WhatsApp chats appear in HubSpot.

Good to know

• With one HubSpot account connected, the chats of all your Accounts arrive in HubSpot and in workflows you can choose the templates of every Account connected to WhatsApp. You can also connect more HubSpot accounts, one per WhatsApp number, with Connect another HubSpot account: each one gets the chats of its own number and in workflows uses only that number's templates. The first one connected is the main one: it gets the chats of the numbers that have no HubSpot account of their own. A number works with one HubSpot account at a time, and all the contacts stay in your one SendApp address book.
• The workflow action needs HubSpot Professional or Enterprise: HubSpot offers custom actions only on those plans. Contacts and chats work with every HubSpot plan.
• A contact deleted in HubSpot, also for privacy (GDPR), stays in SendApp: to erase it here too, use SendApp's own GDPR erasure.
• «Disconnect HubSpot» in SendApp also removes the app from HubSpot. Contacts and chats stay in SendApp.
• The app is included only in some SendApp plans: check the apps included in your plan.

Alternatively: the webhook

If you only need to bring contacts into SendApp, you can still use the webhook below: in a contact-based Workflow in HubSpot add the «Trigger a webhook» action with POST method and paste your URL. Every contact with a phone or an email is created or updated in SendApp with the tag hubspot. The webhook does not log chats and does not send templates: for that you need the app.
