Plateform
Connect Plateform's automations to SendApp by webhook: when a booking arrives or its status changes, you can send the customer a WhatsApp template.
Before you start
- In SendApp: WhatsApp connected and a template approved by Meta.
- In Plateform: the Marketing → Automazioni (v.2) section. If you cannot find the Invia webhook action, ask supporto@plateform.app.
Plateform's menu names below are those of its Italian guides.
1. In SendApp: create the automation and copy the address
- Open Automations → New automation → Blank sheet.
- Under What starts the automation, choose Call from another system.
- Give it a name and press Save automation: even switched off it gets its address, and you pick the template later.
- Under Address to call, press Copy. Keep it private: whoever has it can start the automation.
2. In Plateform: paste the address
- Go to Marketing → Automazioni (v.2) and create a new automation.
- As the event choose Nuova prenotazione (new booking) or Cambio stato prenotazione (booking status change). Under Avanzate (advanced) you can narrow it, for example with Stato prenotazione (booking status).
- Under Se il contatto è già nell'automazione (if the contact is already in the automation) choose Entrare di nuovo (enter again) and check Limitazione ingresso (entry limit): otherwise someone booking a second time may be left out.
- Under Aggiungi azione (add action) choose Invia webhook, paste the address into Endpoint and save.
3. Run a test and look at the real fields
- Leave the SendApp automation switched off: the call is saved as an example and no message goes out.
- In Plateform, create a test booking with your own number.
- In SendApp, reopen the automation, select Trigger and press Refresh next to Last call received: you see the fields received with their values.
If nothing appears, check the pasted address and the automation in Plateform.
4. Choose the contact and add the template
- Under Who the contact is, leave Recognise automatically or pick the phone field yourself: it must hold the full number with its international prefix, so check it in the test.
- With Trigger already opened, select the Send WhatsApp template step, pick the template and, for each parameter, pick the field from the Data received group.
- Save and switch the automation on, then repeat the test with your own number.
Which fields to expect
Plateform publishes no official list: its guide only has one example image from 2024. What counts is what you see in your own test. The example shows, among others: mobile, mobilePrefix, mobileNumber, email, name, lastname, status, source, tags, lastReserve, reserveCovers, creation, note, flagMarketing. Plateform does not explain what they mean: check each value before using it in a message.
With «Recognise automatically», the contact's name comes from name; lastname stays available as received data.
Good to know
- Promotional messages need the customer's consent: this connection is meant for booking-related messages.
- If you generate a new address, the old one stops working at once: paste the new one into Plateform.
- Plateform's menu names come from its Italian guides and may change.
